The 1959 Cadillac Eldorado

This website was originally created to sell this car.  It has since sold, but this site lives on.  Browse these pages to learn about this legendary car.

You have found the lowest mileage 1959 Cadillac known to exist. It was last driven on February 8, 1959, the night the flamboyant owner, Maurice Gagnon, was kidnapped and shot to death in the car. This rare white 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Seville has changed hands only once in the past 48 years but that will change on January 19, 2007. For the first time buyers will be able to bid for this car, during the SpeedVision televised portion of the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, lot #1014. It will be a no reserve auction; the high bidder will own the King of 1959 Cadillacs, with only 2,240 miles. It is the only car of the era with original battery, exhaust, and tires. And it is the only documented example of the most famous Urban Legend, the Death Car preserved though time.
